Environmentally Friendly Graffiti Removal - Case Study
Graffiti removal without an impact on the local environment or wildlife impossible look below!!!!
CABS were requested to survey and formulate a plan to remove existing art work from a concrete tank in a Field formally used for the Ebbw Vale Festival; the concrete tank was used by budding local artists to display free hand art work.
CABS were tasked with the removal of the paint in a sensitive location with the surrounding area supporting a live and occupied school, and providing a home and welfare facilities to a small avery in close proximity, utilising only natural blast media (Sodium Carbonate) CABS were able to blast with the peace of mind that the media used would cause no harm to the natural resources or surrounding wildlife.
With our highly trained technicians and estimating team we were able formulate a programme and method of works more than suitable for the main contractor and the local authority to approve, to start works on the job at hand with immediate effect. On completion of works CABS technicians left the surrounding area as we found it, if not in an improved condition after a thorough clean up.
Both the main contractor and local authority were so impressed with the level of skill and determination displayed by our team, and there awareness of reducing the impact to the local environment, we were awarded with a listed monument to blast clean and weather seal for protection for the future.
