May Park Primary School - Case Study

Following the construction of a brand new junior school at May Park in Bristol, the old primary school next door was left looking tired old and dated.

Commissioned directly by the school to create bright, fresh and clean new look to match the new building, which will promote a professional and fun image and encourage the children and local community to engage with the school.

The scope of works involved the preparation and repair of colour coded plastisol insulated cladding panels and the structural steel for the playground canopy. As a variation the building housing the school boiler and maintenance stores was also refurbished.

The program was originally designed to be completed during the 14 days of the February half term break, but due to good project management and a strong technician performance the whole project including variations was completed in 12 days giving all the child a lovely surprise on their return to school after their half term break.
